Welcome back to Net Impact, the premier group for graduate students interested in business, corporate responsibility and in using their business skills for social good.

We've got a lot planned for this semester, including our first ever Film Series. Find out all about it at the:

KICKOFF MEETING, Thurs, 2/23 5:30-7pm, Grainger Hall (Check Today in Grainger)
Join us to reacquaint yourselves, meet the new board, and enjoy some subs and intelligent conversation. In addition to the film series, we'd also like some input in bringing some top-caliber speakers to campus.

Our ongoing film series will kick off the evening of 2/27 with "The Corporation " in Grainger Hall.
After spring break we will be co-sponsoring an film at Union South with the Union Directorate.

Beth Robinson from 1st Business Bank and Bob Porter from Porter & Sack CPA's talk about how bankers and tax professionals interact with small businesses--what they do, when they do it, and how much it costs. Other topics include what kind of relationship you should have with your banker and tax professional, what you can expect of them, and what they expect of you as an entrepreneur.

 Arts Administration Association...

"I could see the sin . . . I could hate the sin . . .but never the
sinner." -- Clarence Darrow

Never the Sinner is a true-crime love story based on the 1924 trial of Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb; millionaires, geniuses, Jews and lovers, these teenage boys from Chicago planned the perfect murder and nearly got away with it. Written by John Logan, who penned the screenplays for Gladiator, Any Given Sunday and The Aviator, this play explores the minds (and hearts) of two of the most notorious criminals in American history.

Never the Sinner performs on the following dates and times:

Wed - Sun, 2/22 - 26
Wed - Sat, 3/1 - 4

Wednesdays & Thursdays @ 7:30 pm; Fridays & Saturdays @ 8 pm; Sundays @ 2 pm. Tickets are $15, with Student Wednesday tickets of $5 with an ID.

 Brown Bag Series...

The Graduate Marketing Network (GMN) would like to invite you to attend the next in the Brown Bag Series: Jan Speaks: Research, PhD, Tenure, and Publishing. One of the most cited Marketing professors in the world, Jan Heide, has agreed to share some insights into his current and past research interests as well as some information pertaining to the PhD, Tenure, and Publishing processes.

The event will be held on February 27th from 12:15-1:15 and will be held in Grainger 3070.

The event will be free for current GMN members. If you are not a current GMN member, don't fret, you too can attend for a $5 nominal fee. There is no requirement to join the GMN if you attend. Pizza and beverages will be available for all attending. However, there will only be space for ~25 and sign-up is first come, first serve.
